On-Ice Programs

We are pleased to announce our Shooting & Goal-Scoring Program this fall with Coach Jacob Chantler at Kinsmen Arena. These structured early-morning sessions are designed to help players develop precision, confidence, and consistency in scoring situations.

Program Focus Areas

• Shooting in Stride – maintaining speed and balance while releasing
• Catch and Release – quick puck control to shot transition
• Quick Release – minimizing time from possession to shot
• Shooting off the Deke – creating scoring chances through fakes
• Shooting Through Lanes & Screens – accuracy under pressure
• Puck Skills & Stick Handling – control in tight spaces, deception, and confidence with the puck

These development sessions will keep players sharp and engaged during their P.D. Days with a focus on:

We’re excited to announce the return of Keegan Knight Power Skating at Farquharson Arena for players born in 2011, 2012, and 2013! These high-energy sessions will help players build stronger strides, refine mechanics, and sharpen their skating performance. Training will focus on:

• Forward & Backward Acceleration
• Effective Crossover Patterns
• Posture & Upper Body Control
• Stride Mechanics
